If you want to plot in dms we can absolutely do that, but for example: if you headcanon that diavolo is evil or maybe that your oc and diavolo are exes, related, or in love, please don’t start roleplaying with dia as any of that is true. Again, if you want to plot something, like if your oc and dia are in love we can absolutely work on building chem, but please just let me know ooc first. Other than that, any headcanons I have on here are what I follow as well as the actual canon content from the game! :)
• I don’t like to roleplay angst or anything super negative, I just don’t have a good or strong enough headspace for that kinda stuff so I apologize because I know that’s what a lot of people like. If you want to throw in some light!! angst for your characters backstory that’s fine because Diavolo has a sad backstory too but I just can’t do any present angst
• I also don’t really enjoy role playing with characters that are rude or hate Diavolo. Belphie is the only exception. If your character doesn’t like diavolo just let me know ooc before interacting and that way I know in advance and then it’s fine!! A lot of people have done this so don’t think it’s weird or anything it just helps me feel better because I do project a little onto my dia and constantly seeing “he’s so dumb” or “he pushes his work onto everyone and doesn’t care about others” and stuff like that alllll the time is a bit exhausting :( I can only defend him for so long before I’m just going to give up and block so just let me know ooc and try not to attack him 24/7 give diababy a chance
• Do not tag this account in "you follow" or drama to unfollow problematic accounts. I follow almost everyone back on this account, if I do end up following someone who is being racist, homophobic, sexist, etc. please dm me. If you tag me in one of those posts I am blocking you as well.

• Please do not send me stuff like “can you promote this tweet” or “please share this” because I will tell you now, I’m not going to do it. I shared someone’s obey me discord server once and it turned out badly so it is just a personal rule of mine.

Generally replies and interactions will be short and fun! If you are wanting to get to know Dia more just interact as much as you can. This is a good way to build chem for future interactions, and helps me as an admin get to know your character better so I can improve Dia’s responses to you!

I can do lit roleplay if that is your style! If this is what you’d rather do just start with that and I will match your style. It will take me some more time to reply in this style because I have horrible ADHD but I looove lit and detailed roleplay a lot (I might even prefer it tbh but my brain sucks lol) so please don’t be worried about it if that’s what your style is! This is also a really good way to build chem with Dia because you will get to know more about him and visa versa.

As I said, I have very bad ADHD. If you’ve been following me for a while you know this lol. You’ve probably seen Dia tweet and then just..not reply to anyone for a couple hours. This is just me tweeting and then immediately getting distracted or forgetting that I even had him tweet something. I try to respond to everyone if I can but sometimes it can be overwhelming or if you reply to something while I’m away it might get drowned out in my notifications. I promise I’m not ignoring anyone on purpose my brain just doesn’t work hahaha. If you have a particular reply you’d really like Dia to interact with but I somehow missed it just like your tweet so it will go to the top of my notifs or politely @ me and I will get to it as soon as I can.

Ships/ Relationships:

My Diavolo only officially ships with Lucifer. He will tweet about “Lucifer” but this does not mean it is about any specific Lucifer roleplay account, it’s just Lucifer in general. Any Lucifer account is welcome to reply or interact in a way that automatically assumes Diavolo has feelings for him and visa versa, or not, it is up to them!

Something I’d like to make a point of is that just because your character is shipped with Lucifer/ a Lucifer rp acc, does not mean Diavolo cannot ship with him. If you don’t like Dialuci or Lucidia just ignore it. Do not make jokes or comments about Lucifer not actually liking Diavolo or liking your character more than Diavolo. Ships are separate from one another, do not push your character’s ships onto mine. It’s all for fun!!

However this does not mean your non-Lucifer character can’t have flirty/nsfw moments with him. If you’d like your mc/oc/whoever to have a stronger relationship with him, interact a lot and try to get to know him more. He is wary of new people because he knows many would just be after his title (but for canon purposes he does have a unique interest in mc).

While I prefer to not have any official ships, Diavolo will still go on dates, have fun relationships, flirt, etc. with characters. It is important to know and understand that just because he went on a date with your character doesn’t mean he can’t go on a date with another character. Unless specified that the relationship is polyamorous, everything is separate.

If you’d like to ask him on a date or anything like that please don’t be afraid of doing so. If you have chemistry with him then he would gladly go anywhere with you.

For nsfw interactions please check in with me ooc and we can talk about if you have enough chem and set boundaries. This is mostly just for my own comfort so please don’t take anything personally if I tell you I don’t think he is ready for that with your character yet.

If any of this is confusing and you’d like clarification please just ask! I just don’t want to have a list of ships to keep track of, and would instead rather have him open to anyone to build chem with just for fun.

I apologize if this is repetitive or seems redundant, but of course, if I have to say it, it’s because I’ve had issues with it in the past :(

Diavolo is sfw 90% of the time. With Lucifer and mcs/ocs he has chem with he may be a bit more flirty than normal depending on the situation. If a roleplay gets to the point where either of the characters are unclothed it goes to dms given that BOTH admins are comfortable.

Every once in a while I will do “Dia After Dark” which is a NSFW version of Diavolo that is open to everyone, not just those with chem (everyone excluding minors obv). About 30 minutes beforehand I’ll tweet a warning for anyone who wants to mute this acc to avoid any NSFW on their timeline. I will also change the (Diadaddy) in his name to (After Dark) so it is clear when it is happening. Minors DO NOT interact with nsfw/ after dark tweets. Again, any roleplay where the characters are unclothed goes to dms if BOTH admins are comfortable.

Personality/ Appearance:

• Diavolo has ADHD so he often struggles with focusing on his work and getting it all done, which is why Lucifer and Barbatos have to help him on occasion

Interests:

• He loves learning about the human world from the exchange students
• Whenever he is with Leviathan he asks him about different games or animes. He finds these things very interesting, and can end up hyper-fixated on them until Barbatos intervenes
• He enjoys tea and coffee
• Diavolo loves sweets. Especially homemade hellfire mushroom rolled cigar cookies
• He also enjoys eating out at restaurants that he has never tried before
• Diavolo loves Akudonalds, especially their green slime milkshakes and double poison burgers. However Barbatos doesn’t approve of him eating this type of food too often because he is cautious of his health

History/ Lore:

• Since Diavolo is next in line for the throne of the Demon King, he is expected to act respectfully and with great wisdom, but he is still considered a young demon (think 25~ in human years) so he has a lot to learn
• In times of trouble he is able to call upon the memories of past Demon Kings for advice and guidance, but since he has not yet reached his full power he cannot do this as easily as someone like his father would be able to
• He is a clueless himbo about common things such as socialization, slang, or what is happening in general. However he is actually very very smart, he pays attention to small details and does know what is going on even though some may think he is unaware
•”Diavolo proves to have much more wisdom than his cheerful demeanor suggests. He shows moments of solemn clarity in which he correctly predicts events that will occur in the future either due to his subtle encouragement or his intentional lack of intervention”
• Behind the scenes, he rules over the Devildom in a way that has earned him the respect of those beneath him. It is in the best interest of all demons to NOT cross him or prove themselves disloyal

Diavolo’s only mate at the current time is Lucifer. When Lucifer was still an angel, he took several visits to the Devildom for Michael. On these visits he found himself entranced by Diavolo’s friendly demeanor, and soon his visits were more than diplomatic. When Lucifer and his brothers fell from the celestial realm, he pledged his loyalty to Diavolo in exchange for his sisters life. Afterwards, in an act of both open defiance against his father, Michael, and the celestial realm, and realization that he no longer had to hide his true feelings, he and Diavolo took each other as mates. They were passionately in love for everyone to see for centuries. Eventually, Lucifer settled in to his new life in the Devildom and as his pride grew he began to dislike the publicity of their relationship. Now, they are still mates and still hold deep feelings of love and endearment for each other, but Lucifer has distanced himself from the other, claiming “professional reasons”. When they are alone together it is often like nothing had ever changed, but Diavolo still wishes things could go back to how they used to be.

Other facts (headcanons):

• A bit intimidated by Simeon, not in a way that he is physically afraid but rather that he is put off by Simeon’s blatant disrespect and attitude to the point that he might find his presence uncomfortable, but he still tries to include him as often as he can, in order to try and make peace between him and the angel
• Lucifer and Barbatos are his best friends because everyone else is always uneasy around him
• He enjoys the company of Mammon and Leviathan, because although they respect him and probably wouldn’t consider him their friend, they treat him more normally than their other brothers because they just want to have fun
• He wishes he was more approachable, but with his status and power he is respectfully feared by all other demons. He has come to accept this but it still bothers him at times when he is feeling left out such as when Asmodeus doesn’t invite him to parties, or everyone does something without him
• “He has the ability to tell if someone is telling the truth and has made a rule for himself to never tell a lie.”
• He hates pickles
• He loves giving gifts to those he considers his friends (even if they wouldn’t consider him their friend) and ends up acting like a sugar daddy without really meaning to. He is constantly buying Lucifer nice things or taking him to nice dinners. Diavolo has no issue paying for something someone expresses interest in, such as a nice shirt at the mall or a rare model of a car in a specific color no one else could find (looking at you lucifer and mammon)

Devildom Facts:

• 300 years ~ 1 human year in age/ maturity, but time passes at the same rate, however to demons and angels, 1 year is not as significant as it is to a human
• Demons can be “born” a 4 different ways. One way is if they are the direct offspring of 2 demons. Another way is if they are a fallen angel. The third way is that when a human with a pact dies they have the option to become a demon or descend to their assigned layer of Hell. The final way is if a human or other being is put in a place where they know they are going to die and call upon a demon for assistance to keep them alive, they will be kept “alive” by forcibly transforming into a demon
• These demons live in the Devildom, which sits directly above the first layer of Hell (there are 7 layers, getting worse as they go down). The Devildom is considered part of the 7 layers, and sometimes other beings refer to the 7 layers + the Devildom as “Hell” or “The 7 Layers” or simply, “the Devildom” since that is the first stop on the way down, but all names mean the same thing. The Devildom is very large and the demons there are tasked with torturing souls in the different layers, possession of other species in different realms, causing general chaos, responding to summons, and other typical demonic acts. Other than that they live freely and enjoy their lives in the Devildom as any human would in the human realm. There are restaurants, theaters, amusement parks, anything you can imagine
• In the Devildom, they use magic for almost everything. To make tea Barbatos uses magic, to clean the brothers use magic. (This is why when they go to the human world they are confused by kitchen appliances). This doesn’t mean they are not “modern” just that they do not have any use for appliances or supplies when they can just use magic
• RAD is a school in the Devildom that teaches newly born demons, how to be a demon. Obviously when an angel falls or a human transforms they will not know enough about demon culture to survive, or do their jobs. At RAD they learn about magic, culture, food, pact making, seductive speech craft, history, tradiations, and anything else they would need to know in order to be a model demon citizen of the Devildom

Demon Lords, Royal Butlers and the Demon King:

• Demon Lord is a title given to a demon with exceptional power. (think on a hypothetical scale of 1-100 any demon with a power ranking above an 85 would be a Demon Lord. For guidance, Belphegor, the weakest of the 7 brothers would have a power ranking of 91 and Lucifer a 95)
• Demon Lords can hold positions in advisory councils for Lord Diavolo or the Demon King (when he was still residing in the Devildom). They also may be given plots of land by the Demon King, on which they may rent out houses, build their own mansions or do whatever they want
• These Demon Lords do not technically hold any official position above lesser demons, however it is implied and respected that these demons are much more powerful than lesser demons, and thus the hierarchy exists peacefully and without dispute.
• The title of Demon King can only be passed down to the direct offspring of the previous Demon King. Diavolo won’t be able to become the next Demon King until he reaches a certain level of power and maturity and descends to the bottom of hell to fight his father (the current demon king) for his title. It’s a right of passage fight, and the new demon king may or may not kill the past king (in diavolo’s case he wouldn’t feel the need to kill him, just besting him in a fight would be enough for him). It is expected for the previous Demon King to concede after losing the fight, and if they are spared they live their life as a normal Demon Lord would, though sometimes they stay near the castle (Diavolo’s father would just stay at the bottom of Hell/the Devildom)
• Diavolo’s father left when he was around 3900 years old (13 years old in human years), and went to live in the bottom of the 7 layers of Hell beneath the Devildom. Diavolo's mother died after giving birth to him, and his father was a very strict parent. After losing his only mate, Diavolo’s father lost interest in ruling over the Devildom and the other layers it includes, and left Diavolo, who was already quite powerful, in charge instead. He still watches over the 7 layers from afar, with Diavolo keeping charge of the Devildom layer. He could return anytime and Diavolo would be expected to answer to him, but he has no plans of ever doing so. He waits for the day his only son becomes strong enough to descend to the bottom layer to challenge him, so that he may finally live with no responsibility
• Barbatos will serve Diavolo until he dies, and if Diavolo dies before him then he is expected to continue to act in Diavolo’s interests until a new heir takes over as Demon King
• More butler hcs coming soon now that more has been confirmed in new lessons and chats :)

Demon Headcanons:

• Demons do not have a limit on how many mates they can and/or will take in their lifetime. However there is a difference between mates and lovers. Lovers are similar to one night stands or hook up partners. Mates are individuals who are bonded for life (unless broken off but that is rare and considered taboo). Lower ranking demons tend to take many mates, while having few lovers. Higher ranking demons will take only a handful of mates, while having many lovers (think concubines). Demon Lords (7 lords, Lord Diavolo, etc.) Take only a few mates if even more than 1-2, and generally do not have other lovers, unless they prefer to consummate pacts with sexual affairs
• Demons breed with mates, not lovers. This is why lower ranking demons often take more mates than lovers. The more offspring they have the more powerful their family (as powerful as a low ranking family of demons can get compared to the lords) and the more land and assets they will eventually own. It also increases their chances of having a child who may mate into a more powerful family
• Demons exist in different forms, including: human (diavolo, lucifer, mammon, etc.) animals (dogs, cats, foxes, snakes, birds, bats, etc.) and cursed species
• Demons that take on a human form have 3 sub-forms. The first is a normal human form, where they would appear like any other person, although they do retain they magical powers, strength, habits, and personality. The second is the human-demon hybrid form. This is where they physically resemble a human, but with the added features of wings, horns, tails, claws, etc. This would be what form they take during a small fight, a sudden burst of anger of excitement, or to show off when others are around (like peacocks maybe). The final form is their full demon form. They lose most if not all resemblance of a human, and take on the form of an animal, insect, mythical being, etc. Their power increases significantly in this form and this form is only brought out in extreme cases. For example, in Diavolo’s case, he has his human form, then his demon-human form that we all know, and for his full demon form he would resemble a large dragon, and this form would emerge in an event such as a fight with his father for the throne, or a fight against the leaders of the celestial realm where he would need to access his full power.
